Needs and Care
Light: * Thrives best in sunny or semi-shady locations, benefiting from at least 6 hours of direct light per day, which stimulates abundant flowering and intensifies the color of the flowers.
Soil: * Prefers fertile, well-drained soil with slight acidity (pH between 6 and 6.5). * When planting, dig a hole approximately 40x40 cm and improve the soil with substrate for roses.
Watering: * Regular watering is essential – apply water directly to the roots, preferably in the morning, to minimize evaporation. * In the warm season, watering 1–2 times a week is recommended, adjusting the quantity according to weather conditions, but avoiding excess water.
Fertilization: * Use specific rose fertilizers in early spring and throughout summer to support healthy growth and consistent flowering.
Pruning: * Perform formative pruning in spring, removing dry, weak, or damaged branches, to renew the plant's habit and stimulate the appearance of new floral shoots. * Regularly remove faded flowers to maintain a tidy appearance and encourage continuous re-flowering.
Mulching: * Applying a generous layer of organic mulch around the base of the plant helps maintain soil moisture, protect the roots, and reduce weed growth.
