Needs and Care
-
Light:
* Prefers full sun or partial shade, benefiting from at least 6 hours of direct light per day.
* Intense light contributes to the intensification of color and fragrance.
- Soil:
* Thrives optimally in fertile, well-drained soil with a slightly acidic pH (ideally between 6 and 6.5).
* When planting, dig a hole approximately 40x40 cm and amend the soil with peat or rose substrate.
- Watering:
* Water the rose regularly, applying water directly to the roots, preferably in the morning.
* During summer, watering 1–2 times a week is recommended, adjusting the intensity based on weather conditions, avoiding excess water.
- Fertilization:
* Apply specific rose fertilizers at the beginning of the growing season (spring) and repeat feeding throughout the summer to support healthy growth and abundant flowering.
- Pruning:
* Perform shaping pruning in spring, removing dry, weak, or damaged branches to renew the plant's structure.
* Regularly remove faded flowers to stimulate the appearance of new blooms.
- Mulching:
* Apply a generous layer of organic mulch around the base of the plant to retain soil moisture, protect the roots, and reduce weed growth.
