Needs and Care
-
Light:
* Thrives in sunny or semi-shaded areas, benefiting from at least 6 hours of direct light per day.
* Intense light stimulates flowering and intensifies color and fragrance.
- Soil:
* Prefers fertile, well-drained soil with slight acidity (pH between 6 and 6.5).
* When planting, dig a hole approximately 40x40 cm and mix it with peat or rose substrate.
- Watering:
* Regular watering, applying water directly to the roots, preferably in the morning.
* During summer, water 1–2 times a week, adjusting the amount based on weather conditions, but avoiding excess which could cause root rot.
- Fertilization:
* Apply specific rose fertilizers in early spring and repeat feeding throughout the summer to support healthy growth and abundant flowering.
- Pruning:
* Perform formative pruning in spring, removing dry, weak, or damaged branches to renew the plant's structure.
* Regularly remove spent flowers to encourage new blooms.
- Mulching:
* Apply a generous layer of organic mulch around the base of the plant to retain soil moisture, protect the roots, and reduce weed growth.
